I am getting better. I actually bridged across a small gap to get in a break. Once there I couldn’t really help and we got caught but it beats getting dropped about a month ago. Stefano kept the race together towards the end I was trying to lead out our teammate Brent. I hit out on the last lap and a few moments later someone threw it away and plowed into Brent, a bunch of guys went down but Brent held it up. I tried to salvage in teh sprint but was creeping and ended 5th or so. The picture from the last post in the back of my right leg. About halfway through someone slammed into me from behind burning a patch of skin and somehow knocking my cable out of the stop leaving me stuck in the bottom cog. I thought the cable was broke but a few laps later Stefano told me what was happening and I took a lap. Thats when I had a good surprise. I got my bike sorted (minus the mashed hanger) and was waiting for the field, the official tells me to go before the field and get to speed but i had to stay in the field for a lap. I like that much better than throw a guy in last wheel even if he was in the top 20 when he swung off for the pit.
